Nestled in the valley between Turks Mountain and Round Top Mountain, this quaint 1930 Farmhouse overlooks rolling pastures, a darling stream, and Shenandoah National Park.
Situated off the renowned Nelson 151, Round Top Roots is working hard to revive the farm by incorporating regenerative agricultural and permaculture practices.
The Farm was known as Whisperin’ Hollow for a number of years, with sheep, chickens, and guineas, and ducks.
Round Top Roots is increasing their flock!
In the beginning of the summer of 2021, RTR welcomed four Helmeted guineafowl, Numida meleagris, (guineas) and four Bourbon Red Turkeys to home in the old A-Frame.
The old duck house is now home to 6 new chicken pullets:
